El Arc de California: Summit

El Arc promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes.

On April 28 and 29, El Arc had their summit with the intention to gather community leaders from each region of the organization to speak on bill AB 1220, which would require the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and regional centers to report data relating to disagreement and denials of services, as specified. With the support from El Arc's community, the bill was passed and is now set to continue the process to be enacted.
